As you yourself noted, Giant Fox-killing humans did in the Giant Fox, and as it happens, most cat owners are also Giant Fox-killing humans or know someone, usually a neighbor, who is a Giant Fox-killing human. We may lose a few house cats on this sorry excuse for a planet, but we will lose far more Giant Foxes in the process, or I don't eat grass. Giant Foxes are a threat to young sheep, aka lambs for those less knowledgable readers, and I far prefer the company of house cats, thank you very much. I do agree with you about lions, however. Despicable creatures. Them and wolves and other predators that harry, kill and devour innocent sheep. Death to them all!

Of all that you've put up since my last visit, this one statement stands out for me above all the rest in its casual simplicity and absolute truth, (and you owe me a virgin goat for this). "being nice to poor people only encourages them". Yup. You don't teach someone to fish for themselves by feeding them fish dinners. What you do is stand them by a lake or stream and point at a fish, and then walk away.

As for the rioting students who want to pay less for the education they plan to take back to Crapistan with them, you could always just declare martial law and start shooting everyone out on the streets in certain areas after, oh, 5 PM or perhaps noon, or somewhere in there. Well, I like it.
Seriously, this stuff is another symptom of our both our countries, who became too rich and condescending and then too charitable to the wrong people. I remember the Kwashiorkor babies in Africa who were all so emaciated from protein starvation that their bodies were stick figures while their heads were huge bulbs, like caricatures of aliens from space, and while the appeal went out all over the world to save these kids, little to no help actually came. Because no one gave a shit about a bunch of starving Africans, especially when there would always be another crop of them soon enough. Charity goes to those we can most relate to who make us feel the best about ourselves. We love gratitude and you can't get gratitude from babies who are so wrecked already that they'll grow up brain damaged and their own people don't want them. Damn sure no gratitude there.
But educate the kids of foreign rulers, especially from oil-rich countries, and we establish a bond (we foolishly think) of gratitude and respect with these people. Isn't it funny how it's these same graduates who afterward heap abuse on us? What a great joke. Must be that dry British humor.
