Was reading about the Zombie Drug yesterday as well. Rotting Flesh? A small price to pay for an hour's high. Just ask any meth addict, with the sores on their faces and their teeth rotting down to black stumps which must hurt like hell. In fact I know it does, having taken my adopted daughter to the dentist to get several of them removed when the pain became too much to endure and the infection became life-threatening. She still takes the drug, of course.
I really think the best course of action for people who are so far gone in their addictions is to, first, evaluate their condition, and second, then give them a choice between a rigidly drug-free labor gulag or a bullet in the back of the head. Life is challenging and not all of us are fit to survive into old age. As our population increases, we'll have to go one of two ways: We let the unfit weed themselves out, ala Krokodil and other methods, or we as societies weed them out.
Back when our population was a whole lot smaller, we could afford to be a kinder, gentler world whether we actually were or not. Those days are unfortunately gone.

Not many people would have thought of that. I personally like religion. Really. It gives me something to laugh about, and at, when there really is very little to be smirking about. Just this morning (see how great minds really do think alike) I was amusing myself by picturing the Poop, ah crap I mean Pope, all the cardinals, all the priests, what the Hell, all the nuns too, even, wearing Herman Munster masks. What a great religion Catholicism would be if they all had to wear Munster masks. I might even join just so I could get my picture taken in a Munster mask. No one would know it was me and that I wasn't a pederast, I mean priest. When men wear frocks, something is seriously wrong.
I agree that even little birds have emotional, familial attachments. Love, affection, loneliness, sorrow are common to pretty much everything with a brain, even a tiny brain. I think I might let bugs and schooling fish out of that though. Perhaps also sharks and other large predatory fish. Oh and pet rocks, chia pets, sensitivity plants, Ah and yes, of course, Ms. Pondscum.

I finally got around to doing a Google on "pikey" and see that it refers to the Irish equivalent of Gypsy, aka Traveler. People who don't tend to stay put do get bad reputations and generally deserve them. Living in camps and easily disappearing makes crimes much easier to get away with, and human nature being what it is, I can easily imagine that Travelers get away with a lot.
Ms. Pondscum happens to rent from me and is also of the Traveler type, her and her whole family. I only rented to her on the exhortations of a well-respected counselor at the local school, who is now no doubt regretting her well-intentioned efforts. Not so much as myself, however.
She's supposed to be moving out at the end of the month, having given notice, but I've prepared eviction papers just in case she doesn't, and I really doubt she will be gone by then. I fully expect to be left with some big utility bills, not to mention the final cleanup and repair costs. She's liable for the water/sewer bill in her contract with me but refused to pay it for this month. So I didn't either. Shut off by the county will be July 6th, which should help ease her and her large brood out and on their way to the next victim.

Wesley Snipes didn't file tax returns because the tax collectors are all vampires and he would have had to kill them on sight, which of course is a Federal Offense considerably graver than simply not filing. Between a rock and a hard place, you might say.
Gotta tell ya this one: Ms. Pondscum, a horrid blob of dislocated fat deposits giving somewhat amorphous form to the constant evil scheming within, was visited today by a motor home with "Claws and Paws Mobile Pet Grooming" emblazoned on the side. I had to take a drive and on passing by and looking over I was amazed, shocked really, to see Ms. Pondscum and the pet groomer merely sitting out front talking.
I was certain she would have been getting her nails done.

Bin cameras are cool and a great idea. No one deserves privacy. There should be cameras connected to every room in every home that record everything everyone does. I personally want to see cameras inside toilets that look up the arsehole of everyone taking a crap to see if they do their daily doody duty or not, what color and length it is, how much toilet paper they use to wipe with, if they do a good clean job of wiping, if they flush, all those vital details we need to micro-manage each and every individual on a constant basis. People can't be allowed to do anything on their own, privately and unsupervised, as the general public simply isn't as capable as we in government are of ensuring that everything people do is for their own good. Everyone must be controlled in everything they do at all times.
Cell phones should come equipped with brain wave sensors so that as people hold them to their heads, their brains can be scanned and their thoughts recorded for future analysis. Everyone should have microchips implanted at birth that constantly transmit all their bio info to some government computer hard drive somewhere, for future reference, and others that record every word they utter and every bit of sexual stimulation that occurs.
This privacy stuff MUST BE STOPPED!
